Electric circuits

How does a circuit move energy from a battery to make light, heat, sound or movement?

Lesson 1 runs entirely on the iPad: students light a bulb on screen and test which materials conduct. Lessons 2 and 3 use low-cost, low-voltage kits (AA cells, globes or LEDs, wires or foil, paper clips and split pins) to build circuits with switches, test classroom objects, and track how energy is transformed. Only 1.5 V cells are used, never mains power.
